Adrian Gutierrez is truly amazing. It is very apparent that he loves what he does. He asked me questions and listened to what I had to say. He's a very caring, genuine person. I was immediately at ease and put myself in his hands. He has magic hands. I went in with a raggedy mop of greying hair and left with a shiny sassy cut. The color is awesome! I feel transformed! Adrian, Farzi, and the rest of the staff at Free Spirit Salon....thank you!!!

Adrian is a miracle worker. He is a true genuis at his craft. when i went to go see Adrian i had the worst hair cut... a mullet and asked him to make me forget that I had ever had that hair cut. After receiving his full attention he was able to fix my terrible hair and have me looking stunning. The hair cut and the service he gave me was the best that I have ever had. If your looking for the best hairdresser in the south look no further Adrian is that person!

I was in a predicament recently where I needed a haircut, but no longer wanted to visit my former salon. So, I let my hair go... for almost six months without a cut or highlights. I was in denial with how bad it had gotten, until my mother, whom I hadn't seen in several months, told me how terrible my hair looked.

So, I did what anyone in my position would do, and searched the internet for reviews on a new stylist. Imagine my excitement and surprise when I came across Free Spirit Salon, only a few miles from where I live, and the seemingly hundreds of reviews on the amazing Adrian. Trust me -- everything people say about him is true. He's truly a master at his craft and also has a wonderful personality to match. He made me feel as though we were old friends as soon as I sat in his chair. In coming up with a plan for my hair, we discussed seemingly every relevant aspect of my life (career, activities, hair maintenance, etc.) and looked at several pictures so that he knew exactly what I wanted. And, as you've probably gathered since I'm writing this review, I left the salon with a gorgeous cut and highlights and a plan for how to achieve the look at home. The entire time he was cutting, highlighting and styling my hair, he was also educating me on how to care for it, and even after a few washes, I am able to maintain the style much better than any other prior cut -- which, to me, is the true sign of a GREAT haircut. And in the days following my visit with Adrian, I have gotten compliments, not only the cut and color, but on how good I look overall. So, thank you Adrian and Free Spirit Salon for making me love my hair again! I'll see you in a couple of months!

A friend referred me to Adrian, and I'm so glad she did. I told him I wanted a low-maintenance hair cut that didn't require a trim every 6 to 8 weeks. Well, I got what I asked for and more! He asked questions about what I like to do, etc. and then used that information to give me the perfect cut. Not only does he enjoy what he does, he's a hair genius (not an exaggeration). I'm overdo and going back today, but I haven't had the 'shaggy, in-between hair cuts' experience.

The salon is very nice and the other folks working there were very professional. Highly recommend it!

We recently relocated to Alpharetta and I spent months trying out different salons before finding Free Spirit Salon and Adrian and I couldn't be happier; Adrian is a true creative genius and is a standard that everyone in his industry should aspire to....From the first meeting he spends time listening then puts his creative talents to work. An amazing cut and color, the best I've ever had. This is not a quick in and out the door with the standard cut but is an experience with someone who cares about his customers and works to achieve the best look for them. I would highly recommend Adrian. Free Spirit Salon from front desk to staff are all friendly and welcoming and I'm so glad I found them!

What an incredible experience!! I began with a consultation with Adrian, the artistic director of the salon. He listened and helped me decide on a cut and color. We set an appointment for later in the week, and when I returned to Free Spirit, I was treated like a valued friend while I was cut, colored, and styled by Adrian and Farzi, his amazing right hand assistant. I was introduced to a number of other stylists and the owner as "Lisi, my beautiful and important new friend with beautiful hair!" Farzi gave me a special treat- a complimentary make up touch up (and my eyes looked amazing!) I had a date that night that I absolutely blew away!

One of my favorite parts of my visit was seeing other stylists come up, say hello, and then Adrian would walk them thru what he was doing- as a teacher, I like seeing people take an interest in growing professionally and learning everyday.

While this was a more expensive appointment than I ordinarily would pay, my hair is gorgeous, I was treated like a queen, and it was worth every penny.

Bravo to Adrian, Farzi, and the rest of the staff at Free Spirit Salon!!

Adrian did an absolutely amazing job with my hair! I came in with my hair all awkward and in serious need of help, and he meticulously worked at it, putting detail in every cut to make it absolutely perfect! My hair has never looked so good! and I would recommend him to everyone, cause I look sexy, bold, sharp, and edgy! It is defiantly the best I have ever looked and I don't even have on make-up!

I saw a woman in the supermarket who had a beautiful haircut. I asked where she went. She told me about Free Spirit Salon and her stylist Adrian. She was so excited about her cut and loved Adrian's approach to hair. She said he was "passionate". I did not realize what she meant, until I went for my first appointment. He met with me and truly listened to what I wanted and what lifestyle I led. He worked on my hair with such passion and enthusiasm. He made me feel SO special and I walked out looking amazing. He actually had hundreds of hair cut pictures on his iPad that we used to find the perfect cut and style for me. I am now the person that gets stopped in the supermarket. People are now asking me where I get my hair cut. I have short hair, so a great cut is important to me. Adrian cuts with such precision and is so creative with my color. He does it all!!! I love my hair cut and color and I highly recommend Adrian to anyone who wants a knock out look!!

I recently visited Free Spirit Salon and I wanted to let people know what an amazing experience I had. My color was done by Izy who is an absolute pro. She did a flawless job and I suggest anyone looking for a great color experience go to see her. My cut was done by Adrian Gutierrez. He gave me the BEST haircut I have EVER had. He provided suggestions which were right on target and literally walked me thru step by step how to get the most out of this haircut. I would walk on hot coals to see Adrian again for my next cut. I live 14 hours out of state - originally from Atlanta - and make a trip to Atlanta to have Adrian and Izy do my hair. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Superb salon.
