GREAT experience, will recommend to others. I was looking for a durable washer and dryer set that would last longer than the typical ones you find at your common big box store. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised to learn from Cowan & Cowan that there is a brand out there Speed Queen that is geared for the coin operated laundry mats and made to be durable. For their residential models, Speed Queen will not sell to big box stores for various reasons which is understandable. The price was very reasonable and Cowan & Cowan delivered to my house on time as promised. The installation went smooth and I am so thrilled with my purchase and experience from Cowan and Cowan. We will be back when the need arises and will tell others to shop there.

Refrigerator door installed incorrectly, causing the door to open into another doorway (the entrance into the dining room) instead of opening into the kitchen.
Refrigerator door would not stay closed, first time.

Water damage to the dining room floor, including the carpet, carpet pad, two walls, and baseboards. Mold under the carpet.
Water damage to the kitchen floor, including the vinyl floor covering, wall left of the refrigerator, wall behind the refrigerator, left wall baseboard, baseboard behind refrigerator, and the cabinet on the right side of the refrigerator. Mold on the baseboards and floor.
Water damage to the garage wall which is located opposite of kitchen refrigerator.
Lack of concern from Gwen Boyd when I called about the leak and damage. Poor customer service. Poor installation. Poor quality.
THIS LADY DON'T KNOW WHAT SHE IS TALKING ABOUT.
I PURCHASED A NEW HOME AT THE FIRST OF THE YEAR. MY BUILDER WOULD NOT LET ME DO ANY UPGRADES TIL POST CLOSING. I CALLED BEFORE CLOSING AND TALKED WITH JESSICA. SHE EXPLAINED TO ME WHAT THE POLICIES WERE AND I WAS OK WITH THAT. AFTER CLOSING JESSICA HELPED ME PICK OUT ALL OF MY UPGRADES AND SPENT ALOT OF TIME ON THE PHONE WITH ME. I PAID FOR THE UPGRADE AND SET THE DELIVERY AROUND THEIR SCHEDULE AND THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD CALL ME 30 MINUTES AHEAD OF DELIVERY. ON THE DAY OF THE DELIVERY I TOOK OFF WORK AND BEING THE NEW HOMEOWNER THAT I AM I WAS AT MY HOUSE ALL DAY, BECAUSE WHEN YOU BUY A NEW HOME THAT IS WHAT YOU DO! I LOVE MY HOUSE. AROUND 12 PM I RECIEVED A PHONE CALL FROM THE GUYS AT COWAN AND COWAN AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD BE IN MY SUBDIVISION IN AROUND 30 MINUTES. I SAID THAT COOL I AM AT HOME WAITING. THEY SHOWED UP AND INSTALLED ALL THE APPLIANCES FOR ME AND SHOWED ME HOW TO USE THEM. I WALKED AROUND ALL THE APPLIANCES AND INSPECTED THEM AND THEN SIGNED THEIR TICKET.
THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT I WAS UNDERSTANDING TO THE BUSINESSES AND BUILDERS POLICIES AND UNLIKE YOU A LITTLE MISUNDERSTANDING WOULD OF BEEN FINE WITH ME. YOU WERE NOT AT HOME LIKE ME AND YOU EVEN SAID THAT THE GUYS CAME BY THE OFFICE, BUT THE KEY WAS NOT THERE AND NEITHER WHERE YOU. SO THERE IS BLAME ON YOUR BEHALF. I HOPE THAT OTHERS THAT READ YOUR COMMENTS SEE THAT YOU ARE TO BLAME ALSO, BECAUSE COWAN AND COWAN IS A BUSINESS AND THEY ARE NOT OUT TO MAKE PEOPLE MAD, THEY ARE THERE TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY.
I HOPE THAT EVERYONE CAN SEE THAT THERE IS ALWAYS TWO SIDES TO A STORY. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH EVERYTHING THAT COWAN AND COWAN HAS DONE FOR ME AND LOOK FORWARD TO USING THEM AGAIN.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD. First of all, BOB obviously you were jipped! I wanted to upgrade my standard refrigerator to a side by side and they told me that it would be $560 extra! That is ridiculous! I can buy a brand new one for a little more than that! But that is not the point. You need to understand some things here. Your name is Bob and mine is not. We are two completely different people so of course you will have different customer service than I BECAUSE WE ARE NOT THE SAME PERSON. Everyone has bad experiences with everything. You can not lie to everyone that reads these reviews and say that you don?t have bad experiences. Also, you can not speak for me and say that I do not love my home as well. I have a very non understanding boss so if you knew anything you would know that not everyone is able to get out of work like you and stay at home waiting for people. Because people like you do not think about others and other people's situation. Even though I couldn't stay at home I had a family member stay at my home and wait for these unreliable people all day long! My good friend at the leasing office even told me that the delivery people came by the office in case there WAS a key left there and these delivery people said 'that's okay, we will call the homeowners right now and let them know we will come by tomorrow' !!!!!!! THEY DIDNT EVEN COME BY TOMORROW!!!! AND NOT EVEN A CALL! So next time, before you go and talk about people who can speak English better than you can, you first need to get all of your facts together.
