Rockdale R must have gone to the wrong store because I took my Grandma to K and D Shoes just yesterday (they were having a sale on some shoes my grandmother likes) and while she was shopping I looked around and found an awesome pair of cowboy boots for a really good price. All though there were some heels and glittery shoes, they weren't the only things the store had. I also noticed they had Keds and Sketchers. The staff was really helpful, they were so nice to my Grandma, which means a lot to me. Go by and see them; you won't regret it!

Don't Make a Special Trip. K&D was a good place a few years ago, but the overall appeal has taken a nose dive. You can get name brands here, but the majority of the shoes carried now are for the hip-hop crowd or prom queens: super high heels, sequins and glitter, strappy party shoes. If you're looking for tasteful casual or shoes for work, you're better off at the department store. Same goes for price: watch dept store sales and you'll do as good or better than here, esp with regard to brand and style. If you're driving by, stop in; otherwise, don't waste the gas!
