Outstanding service!!. As a single female that is not very knowledgeable about mechanical problems, I was very intimidated when the transmission in my Explorer went out. I spoke with a couple of repair shops, but when I found Bobby and Dane at Conyers Aamco, I knew I could trust them to do the job right and treat me right. I have not been the least bit disappointed. They know their business and give awesome customer service to boot!!
VERY Happy Customer. These folks did an exceptionally quality job in servicing my transmission They could have quoted me anything or pretended that I needed unnecessary work and I would have not known the difference; but instead they gave me excellent honest service (potentially saving me thousand$). They repaired my car in record time & had it back to me the same day. It runs like new and even though they road tested it themselves, they called the following day to check with me to see how the car was running. EXCELLENT all around & TrustDale Guaranteed!!
AAMCO Transmissions on Highway 138 - Conyers is GREAT!. The service at the AAMCO Transmissions on highway was phenomenal. As soon as I entered the door at this location, Dane was there to analyze the repairs needed for my vehicle. He was highly knowledgeable about what was needed to get my vehicle running and assured me that everything would be ok. I commend Dane because of his professionalism and the great customer service that he provided each and every time that I have visited this location. My vehicle currently runs as if it is a new vehicle. I am extremely pleased with the service provided this year. I highly recommend this store to anyone that is looking for excellent customer service and professionalism.
Quality work and true customer concern!. I recently had a transmission rebuild done at Aamco in Conyers and was not sure what to expect, but these guys are top notch! I wanted to take my car to my trusted local mechanic but my warranty company insisted I use Aamco. As I had my vehicle towed to Aamco, I didn't even meet Dane until I picked my vehicle up but he communicated with me every step of the way and I am convinced my very expensive repair was covered under my warranty because of the way Dane worked with my warranty company. A $3000 repair ended up costing me $160 and my car is running beautifully. Much as I really like and respect my local mechanic, I will take all my vehicles to Aamco in Conyers for transmission work from now on! The kind of personal integrity and concern that they demonstrate is a rare thing today indeed!

AAMCO ***** THE PLACE TO GO*****. Finally, Conyers has a top notch transmission service center. We bought an auction car and needed a transmission. After 2 local mechanics and seven (7) transmissions later, we took it to Aamco. IF WE HAD KNOWN ABOUT AAMCO TO BEGIN WITH, WE WOULD HAVE SAVED A LOT OF TIME, TROUBLE AND MONEY. The guys there are great, honest and know what they are doing. We just had our one year complementary check up and all is still well. I bet we have the smoothest shifting transmission in the state. I would not hesitate recommending them to anyone. They did us good. I can't say that about 3 other local transmission shops that I've dealt with. Don't waste your time somewhere else, TAKE IT TO AAMCO, ask for Dane or Bobby
Great Service!!!.
Owning a 2007 Suzuki Forenza, it began developing transmission issues at 95,000 miles or so, and needing the least amount of work done on it was the hopeful plan. After taking it to another shop previously before and asking about the problem they suggested we take it to our local AAMCO shop just around the corner. The business owner stated he was sure they could be better at assessing the problem than they could. Dane was the contact person at AAMCO in Conyers.
When we told Dane of the issue and he was very professional in taking care of the problem. He serviced the vehicle with diagnostic equipment and found the problem right away and suggested we bring it in the next day. After the work was completed in one day, driving and not finding the problem was absolultely the best feeling knowing transmission issues can cost! We appreciate the service and the follow up from a professional service; AAMCO of Conyers, truely a leading example of what "CUSTOMER SERVICE" is ALL about.
Thanks Dane!

Thank you. I took my Grand Caravan to these guys in September. They warned me they were a little behind schedule but would help me out as soon as they could. I actually ended up making an appointment and took the van back the next day. I had already received a quote in August for another transmission from a company near my mother's house in decatur. Without knowing it, they beat that quote by several hundred dollars and delivered my car when promised. Maybe its different owners or managers but I had a good experience, considering the circumstances anyway.
AAMCO is a SCAM. In June I sent my car to AAMCO in Conyers to have my transmission looked at. They told me a couple days later that would need to have it replaced, and they could rebuild it for me for $3300. The repairs were supposed to take about 5-7 days. The repair took 3 weeks! After 3 weeks, the Mgr. finally called me and told me the car was fixed and running perfectly. I came to pick it up and paid them the more than $3000 dollars for the service and left the shop. I noticed that when I reverse, the car shifted really hard, which it was not doing before I took it in to AAMCO, and definitely not normal at all for a supposedly rebuilt transmission with all new parts. My car didnt make it through the weekend. The check engine light came on and It got worse and worse to the point that it wouldnt even shift into drive. When I took it back they had no idea what was wrong, they had no answers. The AAMCO guys were stumbling over their words and coming up with half baked plans to fix the car. After 3 more weeks, and nothing working, I requested a refund and they refused. They want to keep trying to fix the car that they know nothing about and now Im out over $3000 PLUS rental car fees for a month. After they put another tranny in, I picked the car up, and it was smoking the whole way home. I drove it back and left it at the shop, and they told my they over filled the car with fluid. Ive had my car back for 2 days and its still not shifting correctly, Its still leaking fluid, And it gets worse day by day! Im afraid that its going to shut down on me and leave me or my wife stranded. I dont want them to mess it up anymore, 7 weeks and $3000 dollars later, its worse off than when I took it in there, They refuse to acknowledge that they dont know whats wrong with my car at all. I dont have another $300 or 3 weeks for a rental car while they practice on my car. I am in the process of retaining an attorney to settle this in court.
