“But if you're expecting a decent return, don't sign the donation form.”

“The prices are very good compared to other quality consign.”
“I've been a long time shopper of Finders Keepers and I always have had a great experience while shopping there.”
fabulous clothes. I love to shop at finders keepers, I can stay in style without paying mall prices. I have been shopping there for 14 years!
Super Savings & Super Service. I get most, if not all, my wardrobe from Finders Keepers and have been a faithful shopper for ten years now. I love how I am greeted by name as I walk in the store and the staff is incredibly helpful.
To Finders Keepers.
I enjoy shopping in your store because everyone is so friendly. I also appreciate how everything is already in size and color coordinated.
Keep up the good work!
Marie
Always a surprise.
The store is really clean and organized. I am able to find what I'm looking for every time I come in, even though they keep switching up the floor plan. But take the name as a warning, if you see something you like, get it then or else it will be gone! I still regret not getting a pair of really nice leather boots from last winter. I came back the next day and they were gone!
I love treasure hunting here, and I always find something amazing!
Wonderful, friendly staff. I've been a long time shopper of Finders Keepers and I always have had a great experience while shopping there. As with any retail establishment, there comes a time when there needs to be a pruning of the staff and this has obviously happened since the first of the year. There were times in the past when some of the staff were less than pleasant but those people are no longer there. Those who are there now are friendly, and motivated and always willing to help me when I come in to shop. I saw some of the negative posts...try them again, you won't be sorry.
Nice Boutique with Unique Items.
Finders Keepers fashion boutique in Decautur is a nice store. The women were attentive in helping me browse and set up the dressing room for me.
The selection of items are definitely HIGH end, but it's a unique selection. During my first visit, I walked out of the store with three items purchased. I spent about $80, but I'm sure I would have spent triple that amount if I had bought those items brand new.
This is definitely a store that I would visit every now and then, when I am in the mood to splurge and browse.
RUDE and UN ECO FRIENDLY.
I know friends who use Finders Keepers. They suggested that before I host my annual clothes swap that I go and see if they'd take any of my items on consignment. I live in the neighborhood, so I folded my items neatly into re-usable shopping bags, took a bag of hangers, and bicycled down the street to the store. Once I arrived the woman at the counter rudely told me that I could not have the items looked at, as they were not on hangers. I told her that I had hangers and I would be glad to hang them up for her. She proceeded to tell me that I could not hang up my items in the store because it is "bad for business". I found this to be more than slightly ironic, since Finder's Keepers business is, in fact, taking clothes from people who bring them in and re-selling them.
Having people who live in the neighborhood drive to the store when they can easily walk or bicycle is such an un-enviromentally friendly policy that I will not do business with this store. What about people who chose not to own a car, or who use public transportation for getting around the city? If you attempt to lower your carbon footprint by driving less, Finders Keepers will not do business with you. Not only that, but they will be rude to you infront of other customers. The woman at the counter next to me told me I should hang my items up in the parking lot and come back in - but I was far too angry to do that! I'll take my clothes to a consignment store with friendly staff and better policies in the future - or better yet, donate them to people in need!
If you like rude, this is the place..
I have passed by Finders Keepers several times and stopped in once to browse a few years ago and my perception was that the staff was rude and unfriendly. However, that was only one visit and everyone has a bad day.
Recently when I was cleaning out closets, I thought perhaps I would call the store for their process to bring in clothing for consideration. Called, spoke with a friendly young woman and took several items to the shop. Greeted at door in a fairly friendly manner and downhill from there.
The staff person who looked over my clothing was downright rude and cocky. She was only interested in a few of my items...........not an issue; however, her lack of customer service skills was over the top.
I observed another staff person speaking with another potential customer and she was just as dismissive and rude.
Shared this with a colleague, who said "I will never go there again, they are so rude". Speaks volumes!
Sellers Weepers.
This is one of the most popular consignment stores in Atlanta, with reasonable prices and lots of stuff (hence the 4-star reviews on this page). Since so many people bring clothes here, sellers have to be careful about donating clothes. Our experience was that the staff was so overwhelmed with the mounds of clothes being brought in that, rather than wade through your clothes and price them, it's easier at times for them to just donate your clothes down the street at the Salvation Army - especially if you've signed the form giving them the right to do so.
My wife and I had bags of nice clothes we brought to FK around the time of our wedding. Included were a nice leather jacket and a nearly new suit from Nordstroms. These were not outdated, worn clothes. We did sign the form giving them the right to donate clothes to the Salvation Army because we didnt' have time to wait in line. Nevertheless, we were shocked to receive an invoice in the mail that stated that the majority of our donations were sent to the Salvation Army, including the aforementioned suit and jacket. When we called the staff to make sure this was correct, we were basically brushed off with a simple "sorry."
So I'm writing this as a warning to potential sellers. If you need to get rid of old clothes fast and don't care what you get back (if anything), by all means donate to FK. But if you're expecting a decent return, don't sign the donation form. Sit with them, go through every item, then make your decision. Better yet, go on eBay or craigslist.
