“always get the tacos pastor (pork) and the philly tacos (steak, onions, mushrooms, and cream sauce), but everything here is good.”
“Really tasty food.”
“have to say that everything on the menu is great.”
“My favorite Mesxican restaurant in all of Atlanta located in "the unknown place to eat" city of Tucker.”
“Many people in Tucker rave about Los Hermanos because their food is good, for fusion, but it is by no stretch of the imagination Mexican food.”
“corridor that was comparable in term of authentic Mexican cuisine and dished out at a reasonable price in the metro Atlanta area.”
BEST MEXICAN ANYWHERE AND HAS EXPANDED FOR MORE ROOM. this is as great as everyone says it is.....with an added comment THEY HAVE ENLARGED THE DINING AREA AND CAN ACCOMIDATE MORE PEOPLE come one come all
Best Mexican you will probably ever eat and great prices. If you haven't been here then you haven't eaten truly great Mexican food. We go at least twice a week and now that they have expanded there isn't as much of a wait at peak hours. Forget the same routine of eating cafeteria quality Mexican that can be found a hundred places in the city; make the drive and try this place. TRUST ME! Everything is FRESH and doesn't taste like it was made in a factory then put under a hot lamp for 6 hours. And the price is more than a great value for what you're getting. Oh yeah, be sure to not over order. Their portions are HUGE. Try the California Quesadilla and the Chicken Tortilla soup. Best things on the menu.
WOW extroidinare quality at an affordable price. Yes, its in a strip mall next to the Publix in Tucker on Hugh Howell just past the Chick Fillet where Lawrenceville Highway takes a sharp left turn and then intersects with the end of LaVista. However, the Parilla de Camarones (grilled shrimp) was awesome. There were 12 large butterflied shrimp that tasted like lobster. They were served with grilled asparagus and grilled roasted potatoes. The flank steak with a cheese enchalada with green sauce, grilled roasted potatoes and asparagus was awesome. Everyone at the table raved about the food from the fish tacos to the grouper special of the day. The portions were large but evryone ate everything! Even the smallest detail, like the avacado dip with the not greasy chips, was over the top. The pico de gallo was fresh and made with fresh herbs. Yes, its located in a strip mall but this is the best Mexican food I' ve ever eaten (even in Mexico). The guys who own this place used to be the chefs at Sundown cafe on Cheshire Bridge.
Best Mexican in Atlanta. Sure, it's small and yes, there are lines on weekends, but it is worth the wait! The service is always fast and friendly. Not your typical Mexican at all -- everything takes fresh and delicious. The California Quesidilla is the best with pieces of fresh vegetables that taste like fresh vegetables. And don't forget the tre leche cake. Remarkable!
great food in a small place. My favorite Mesxican restaurant in all of Atlanta located in "the unknown place to eat" city of Tucker. The chicken tortilla soup is very very good. Chicken, tortilla strips, advacado cubes and some carrot cubes in a very tastey broth with a slice of lime. Fish tacos are great and have jalapeno tartar and banana pepper escabache. Tacos al pastor are a must try and the best item on the menu. They have home made tamales only on weekends and on a limited availability. Expect to wait on weekend nights.
SO GOOD!. If you ever wanted some REAL mexican that taste good then come to this place. We were one of the first people to come to the restraunt. They know the family by name now and usally what we want to eat. I have to say that everything on the menu is great. My favorites are the Chicken nachos, Philly taco, and the asada taco. Also the chocolate- strawberry cake is amazing. melts in your mouth. On fridays try their tamilies. The mother comes in to make them and they are really good. I like the chicken more than the pork, but thats just me. Check them out if you are in the tucker area. And rumor has it that they are planning to expand somewhere.
Great Corn and Shrimp Chowder. Really tasty food... Reminded me of a great Mexican meal I had in Houston Texas. Not your ordinary every thing tastes the same TexMex. Very Fresh. Grand Mom makes homemade Tamales and Desserts (ask for them). They are planning to expand (and need to).
Great Food. This is a great restaurant if you're tired of the 'combo 1-2-3' places. They offer great tacos, made from pork, beef, vegetables, and fish. The california quesadilla is wonderful. It's huge. The salsa is okay. The guacamole is good too. The restaurant is small, so there is limited seating.
