Try the Manhattan Plum cocktail, new for fall!
Noodle so good! – My boyfriend took me to Noodle as the restaurant apart of our date after the Georgia Aquarium. Boy did I love it! The food came out decently fast and good. Our waitress was very nice and service was well.
The Shrimp Basil Rolls ROCK! – One can make a meal alone just on the appetizers, in fact, they ought to consider an Asian tapas theme. The owner, Lily, personally stopped by the table to ensure everything was satisfactory. Nice to see an affordable nigori sake on the menu, also. The shrimp basil rolls are hands-down the best I have tasted in my 6 years of residence in Atlanta- not overstuffed with store-bought shrimp like other palces, the basil was fresh and fragrant, and INCREDIBLY AFFORDABLE. Service was better than other Asian-influenced restaurants, also.
Large portions and hip design are the highlights at this Americanized Asian noodle shop. – The Scene
Located in downtown Decatur, Noodle is a magnet for a crowd that is young, energetic and mostly local. A glass front opens onto artfully painted cement floors, sleek furniture and clean architectural lines. Low lighting supplies ambience, but the noisy room will keep away those in search of a romantic evening.
Noodle specializes in large portions, handsomely presented. Reliable, Americanized flavors usually aren't far behind. Be sure to come with an appetite: The Crazy Lamb Mu Shu Wrap, a starter, is a meal on its own. A plate of intensely flavored beef curry rolls works far better than Noodle's lifeless steamed dumplings. If you've still got room for dinner, try the marinated Asian pork served with gently sauteed snow peas and carrots, or the Long Live Noodle with lobster--soft noodles laced with red peppers, peas and onions and topped with tender chunks of steamed lobster.
AWESOME! – Wether vegetarian or not, this place ROCKS!
My food has always been wonderful, hot and how I asked. Being a vegetarian, it's sometime hard to find tasteful and good food. Most of the serving staff is prompt and curteous. In the many, many times I've been I can count only 2 times my service was slightly below average, and one of those servers I haven't seen again.
Plenty of options, plenty of tastes, plenty of drinks!
Although they have kid dishes, I wouldn't recommend it, it's more "adult" atomosphere, like a romantic dinner or place to eat with friends.
The eternal wait – We would have had a completely good experience at Noodle, except for the incompetence of the hostess who somehow forgot about us and kept us waiting for a table for over 45 minutes. She said the wait would be about 10-15 minutes, took down our name, and then we went to the bar to wait. After waiting for what seemed like forever, I went back up to the hostess stand to ask how much longer it would be. She said she had scratched us off the list because when our table came up she looked everywhere for us and couldn't find us...we were sitting at the bar! Besides that it was a nice evening. The food was served promptly, and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. But that hostess has to go.
