Long before Top Chef appeared on TV screens and the latest round of New Southern restaurants opened to rave reviews, Chef Jason Hill has been plying his trade here in Inman Park. Favorites like their shrimp & grits and their skate have fans throughout the neighborhood.
The staff is very thorough and friendly. We are extremely pleased by the service. We'll surely come back!
DEEE-LISH!.
One of the best ATL has to offer. Ive been here on romantic dates to blow out birthday bashes.
The food is great, beautiful atmosphere and the service is awesome too.
WONDERFUL. My new favorite place!!! I had checked out their menu online before I made the reservation, and it looked like they had a lot to offer. The food was better than I imagined and the wine list was varied and reasonably priced. We shared a bunch of appetizers and each one was better than the last. Every entree was top-notch. The manager Julie was very helpful and the service was so friendly. The restaurant has a great feel and the food was amazing!!! Great place!!!
Always my favorite!!. I dine out quite frequently, and Wisteria is one of those places that just gives you a friendly, family atmosphere that other places lack. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with friendly smiles, from the host to the servers. Service is not pushy bu just awesome. The food is aboslutely amazing...the Iron skillet fried chicken and the Pork tenderloin are just to die for. I would recommend Wisteria to everyone.Great place!!!!
Great hosts! Great experience.. I made a reservation for 8 earlier in the week and at the as I'm pulling up two friends who said they couldn't make it told me they'd like to join. Walking in, I was embarrassed to ask if I could increase my reservation to 10. It was a busy Friday night. But in no time they moved a few tables around and had all ten of us sat. From there, the appetizers, entrees, wine, and deserts were amazing. Service was great. I certainly recommend Wisteria for any special occasion or just a nice meal.
Always Great. I always forget how nice valet parking is until it rains and I was thankful for it during our most recent visit to Wisteria. I was meeting an out of town guest who was running late so I started the evening with a drink at the bar. The bartender was super friendly and suggested the "Old wives tail" cocktail as the perfect drink for wet cold weather, and it was.....Twice! When my guest arrived from the airport the manager was very helpful and offered to take and store her luggage! Our dinner was fantastic. We started with the mussels which and the deviled eggs...Strange combo but delicious. We both opted for the N. Carolina flounder special for our entrees and I can honestly say it was one of the best fish dishes I have ever had. It was served with spinach, sun chokes and grapefruit with an amazing butter sauce. The service was fantastic as usual and the only complaint was we were to full for desert.
To much hype!.
Having just moved to Alpharetta from Houston, we were excited to enjoy some holiday time off and dine in the city. After reading such glowing reviews our choice for Wisteria seemed all to easy...
First, finding the place was a little difficult. I get it, use GPS, no problem. Valet only...eh, ok, it's the holidays.
After having a seat in an 'extra cozy' table and getting a chance to view the wine list, we were both excited to enjoy a great meal. Wine list was good, but lacked thoughtfulness. Maybe the distributor is overly pushy...
When viewing the menu, it became apparent that this was going to be a selection of grandma's best. I could've have done without super-sized selections and enjoyed the salad and soup combo for a fraction of the price. When ready for desert, we were so full that the idea of desert just seemed overwhelming. Maybe next time we should leave room for desert.
Don't ask to split the bill!. Six of us recently visited for our first time to celebrate a birthday. I must say the food was wonderful. However, when it came time to pay the bill, even though we had told the waiter in advance who were couples, the waiter gave us one bill. We asked it to be split, and were told "our system can't". Since we had ordered different price items, we attempted to split ourselves, which was extremely embarrassing. Men just do not like doing that! My husband (who was having the birthday) became so upset I called the manager over. He proceeded to tell me we were the first group that had EVER asked the bill to be split - and expected me to believe him. There were several tables of women and women almost always ask bills to be split! Our bill was over $300 and he offered us a free $10 dessert. My husband had to leave the restaurant he was so irritated. There were few people left in the restaurant by this time and they could have offered to cancel out the bill and split it, but only offered a $10 dessert - UNBELIEVABLE! We love supporting small businesses, but this is the first that couldn't figure out how to split a bill and we won't be going back.
Dinner before Sade.
Well Jason, it's been awhile since I've eaten at your restaurant, and boy, what a great experience.
I started off with the Tuna Appetizer on flat bread, and it was delicate and delicious, followed by the Trout, also excellent. The flavor was The menu selection was wonderful and I'll be back for more. I sat at the bar with Grace, and received excellent service. I used the Scoutmob coupon, which adds the tip - I didn't care for that.
Sade was incredible!!!
