In Short – The amber-hued atmosphere in this intimate eatery is both attractive and comfortable. Terra-cotta-swabbed walls, artwork by local artists, exposed brick, open ceiling, refinished dark-wood floors and tables topped with crisp white linens provide a restrained backdrop for colorful food. Chef-owner Jason Hill's Southern-influenced menu, which changes seasonally, features the kind of dressed-up comfort food you wish your mama made. Scallops come atop a bed of pork belly and are sauced in a barbecue-like drizzle. Many entrees, such as grilled beef tenderloin with cheddar and…

Super Lamb Chop...Super Service

by bobby ronnie at Citysearch

Have visited Wisteria a number of times and always enjoy myself there. Generous portions, great flavors and seasonal specials are some of the reasons this is my "go-to" place anytime. Try the scallop appetizer, the chicken entree, of course the lamb, the filet, the desserts...no misses on the menu in my opinion. Even if you go solo, one feels as comfortable at the bar as with a large group.

  • Pros: Great wine list, Attentive and informed wait staff
  • Cons: Wish they offered Brunch

Top Notch food for a romantic date

by gtg562q at Citysearch

My wife and I arrived with a reservation but wasn't needed on a monday and were seated promptly. Our apps and salad were so-so, crab bisque wasn't as good as my mom's from home in Louisiana( i think i'll get scallops next time). However my mom would be upset to hear that the fried chicken, bacon braised greens!!!, corn pudding and bread pudding absolutely put her's to shame. My wife had the beef tenderloin with mac and cheese, also delicious. We had a nice wine pairing and the portioning was thoughtful, we left full and satisifed. Will go again!

  • Pros: Excellent service, great seasonal food
  • Cons: Cramped at our table by the window
