The Scene – Expensively built from the ground up, the decor of this upscale restaurant is Tuscan villa with a few Cirque du Soleil flourishes. Sophisticated earth tones evoke the interiors of a tasteful, well-appointed home and strains of Sinatra waft through the dining areas. The team service is smoothly attentive. – – The Food – While the menu doesn't break new ground, everything is tasty and well-executed. The cheese course includes five Sweet Grass Dairy offerings beautifully presented on marble and the plump crab cake is all lump meat with slivers of green apple…

They Don't Know What There Missing.

My wife and I had heard about Rainwater from a few are our friends, but my wife was skeptical given what she read on the recent review. WELL LET ME TELL YOU, we have found our new favorite place. From the minute we arrived you could telll that the staff, from the valet, the host to our server, right down the the managers, that they were there to make sure we had the best time. The service by our waiter was perhaps the best we have had in atlanta since we moved here from Chicago, and the food was absolutely out of the world. Great flavors, wonderful presentations, as good as any of the best restaurants we have visted in Buckhead. And to go along with the food a wine list for anyone from price to type of wine. It was a tremendous suprise to find a place with the type of experience that most of our friends think you can only have in Midtown or Buckhead right in our backyard. If you haven't given Rainwater a try, do not wait any longer. It is our new favorite restaurant.

  • Pros: Service, food, ambience.
  • Cons: wish we knew about it sooner.
