Cozy, inviting, good food. Good food. Great little Italian spot. closest thing to Little Italy in Atlanta, but food can be off in a rush

Love the drinks. Great bread and nice family touch

Best Italian Restaurant in Atlanta!. Il Localino is my favorite Italian restaurant in Atlanta. Thank God it is in my Inman Park neighborhood! If you go earlier in the evening, it is very romantic. Later in the evening can be very fun with dance music and people wearing funny hats, which makes it a great place to go with a group of friends for a birthday or other special occassion.

Great Italian!. My wife and I went to Il Localino after a friend recommended it to us and it was wonderful. The food was fantastic. The Lamb Osso Bucco was tender and wonderfully prepared. The Chicken Parm was thin, crispy and the sauce was great. The appetizers - garlic bread and fried mozzarella - were perfectly portioned and not too heavy. We eat out a lot and are often disappointed by new places. Localino did NOT disappoint. Valet parking made it even more pleasant. Go and enjoy the hospitality. No scams or cons here - just considerate, attentive servers.

A piece of Italy on N. Highland.. I love this place! The owner's treat you like family and make you feel like royalty from the moment you walk thru the door. I think I have spent every significant moment of my life, (Mother's 50th birthday, Father's day, special date, etc.) at Il Localino. You will not be disappointed when it comes to service, ambiance, FOOD, nor the price.

Le lasagne e magnifico!. Very fun with the hats. It is a challenge to get there from the North side but worth the effort. Fun atmosphere -- the bread, wines, appetizers, short ribs ? are all outstanding. If you happen upon stone crabs ? you are in for a treat. The lasagna is "incredible" and worth a return trip!

Best Italian / Best Party / Best Price. I've been to Localino many times in the past, but now you must go. The food is incredible! I don't know how they did it, but somehow the lasagna got even better! You can order off of the menu or just ask Mimi or Gale what to get. They will never guide you wrong! The party atmosphere is one of a kind and a reason that I always return. But now they have cut their costs and the experience is almost unimaginable. We had a party of 4 for only $200. And that included a great bottle of wine!

Please try it - you won't regret it!

I'm sorry, you must be confused.... ... this resturaunt is called il Localino...not the macoroni grill or maggiano's or jonny carino's if you would consider your experience at any of the last 3 restaurants named, a "great" dining experience, then DO NOT GO to IL LOCALINO! It is a delicious adventure! through it's food, service and atmosphere you are transported to a relatively very inexpensive italian vacation..ah..if only for one night! Seriously, I dream about that calamari and I haven't had anything in this country taste so much like the real thing! We did get complimentary and not charged for later, sorbet and ciello and the owner created a dish for me and it was not only phenomenal but also the same price as the other entrees... If you have ever been to another country and you enjoyed it and didn't walk around the whole time in your white running shoes and fanny pack complaining about the lack of "americaness" of the place, but instead delighted in the fresh, can't quite put my finger on why this is so much better than what i've had at home flavors and the uninhibited light-heartedness of it's people, you will LOVE IL Localino! I have a sneaking suspicion that if you were to meet the people who wrote these negative reviews you would find that they would fit in one or more of the following categories: A) stuffy bore who just wants "fine" dining in a prim and proper setting and thinks fun is something to be checked off a to-do list or B) ignorant chain restaurant fan who sadly know no better and probably should stay outside the realm of ITP!

Scam, Bad food- need I go on?. I can't believe this place is still in business-oh yeah- they get out of towners who don't know better. Food will show up that they say is on the house, then it appears on your bill. Wine is poured that you didn't ask for and are charged anyway. A group of 4 with no alcohol pays bill of $400, wow- I'm in the wrong business, didn't know you could mark up PASTA and make a killing!!! The food is BAD. Think lean cuisine here people!!! Please, read the reviews and don't say you weren't warned....no where on city search will you find worse reviews - and they all have the same message- Scam, Rip-off, never again, horrible!!! Much better Italian places to go to in Atl guys!!!

I Love Il Localino. I frequently check reviews of my favorite restaurants but never before written one. The last few reviews I have read have made me so mad that I have to write, obviously any one who frequently eats in chain restaurants is going to experience a difference in price because the quality of food and atmosphere at Il Localino is a lot better. In my experience the food is always fresh and delicious and my guest are always knocked out about how great everything is. I personally feel that the people who can't afford this restaurant or don't appreciate the food should go elsewhere and leave room for those of us that do. Regarding the blaring music and crazy atmosphere localino is famous for this later in the night. When I want to entertain clients I either ask for a table in the private room, which is quieter, or I go at 6pm. After the fun starts is really the best time to be there - if you can't have fun at Il Localino you cant have fun anywhere. Now that I?ve gotten all this off my chest I can?t wait to go back again - Maybe even tonight!!
