“Not only is it fun and fantastic, but it also has some of the best local artwork in the city.”
“An amazing assortment of diverse gifts from a variety of excellent artists and cratftpersons.”
“It's the best place to find original and local art and I am not sure there is another store quite like it in the sprawling metropolis of Atlanta.”

Colorful and eclectic, DVG is a great spot to find a gift or affordable art for your home.
Very Disappointed!!. I Waited for my sister to come into town to take her to Donna Van Goghs this weekend. We were very disappointed in the "FOLK ART". Most of the pieces were kind of trashy. I don't know who would buy it or why. The prints are reproductions, the jewlery boring and cheap looking, nothing was original. This little shop would do very well if they did some scouting for real Folk Artist and got some high end stuff in there. It's in a good location and the lady working there very chatty and cheerful. I will not go back.
Fun art, bad attitude. Stopped in to Donna Van Gogh's today inquiring about how to have some of my art in there. I received a very unfriendly response from the woman in charge of bringing new artists in. I had not brought any of my art with me so the attitude could not be based off of my art. Would have been nice to have some of my work in my neighborhood shop. I am a Candler Park resident and like to support the neighborhood businesses. Donna Van Gogh's will no longer have my or my wifes support.
Gift Giving Made Personal. Atlanta is overflowing with talent & Donna Van Gogh brings it to you right from the neighborhood. This market is fill with delights from our Local Artists. Everything you could ever dreamed of, from colorful lamps made with tissue paper by Ashaine Briscoe to the finest jewelry. It's fun, corky, eccentric, and unique. So if you are an Art Connoisseur or just love one of a kind items, go check them out. Art for All Ya'll
From baubles to bird feeders, candles to coasters--quirky handmade gifts shine at this quaint Candler Park shop..
The Scene
Donna Van Goghs shares the block with the ever-popular Flying Biscuit, a vintage clothing boutique and Donna's own ice cream shop venture, Cold Cream. Her artist market represents local artisans whose eclectic wares range from pottery to lawn art. Residents of the neighborhood and beyond have been finding unique gifts and home accessories here since 1994.
The Goods
Ceiling to floor, the place is chock full of folksy and zany knickknacks to embellish the home. Paintings, recycled object sculptures, lawn art and aromatherapy candles compete for attention with decorative drawer pulls, coasters and cocktail glass charms. Colorful pottery piggy banks, candle holders, dog bowls, pitchers and soap dishes crowd the shelves. Be sure to check the walls for flying cars and super heroes including painted cast torsos of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman.
User review by cadicadi. Wow! Great place to buy gifts for friends or Yourself. Especially, if your into one-of-a-kind jewelry or art pieces. I just picked out great glass-enamelling pieces.
Variety. An amazing assortment of diverse gifts from a variety of excellent artists and cratftpersons. Service is exceptional.
Amazing Atlanta Landscapes. You must check this store out! Not only is it fun and fantastic, but it also has some of the best local artwork in the city. I highly recommend the amazing Atlanta lanscapes created by artist Andre Nobrega. He is a wonderful artist and his lanscapes are quite impressive. It's a must see!
Fanastic "homegrown" art. Donna van Gogh's is an awesome store with homegrown flavor. All the art sold there is created by local artists and in the funky neighborhood of Candler Park, this store is sure to intrigue. It's the best place to find original and local art and I am not sure there is another store quite like it in the sprawling metropolis of Atlanta. Much of the art sold there is also functional. If you like to shop for one of a kind, often whimsical, homemade art, definitely check DVG's out.
Amazing Incense.
Donna Van Gogh's has the most impressive (in fact the only that I've seen) locally handmade incense line. The Citrus Basil and Cinnamon Clove are to die for!
My wife would kill me if I did not mention the locally made Sandalwood Body Dust. She insists on it for any occasion. I am partial to the Cedar Body Dust, and the Burgamot Brown Sugar Scrub.
This place has awesome art, but the handmade LOCAL body products can not be matched anywhere. The ladies who run this place really know what they are doing.
treasuringlife. DVG's is a wonderful gift shop filled with eclectic art and knick-knacks made by local artists. I was particularly impressed with the variety and the quality of the work, especially the Atlanta landscapes created by artist Andre Nobrega. This artist is by far one of the best I have seen, and DVG's is one of only a few lucky shops to carry his work. It is a must see! You won't be disappointed.
