“great tunes, amazing key lime pie and tastey dinner specials.”
“And next door, Simpatico is worth the drive to Marietta if only for their incredible wine deals.”
“Very relaxed and great food make me think I'm back home in New Orleans”
“The food is outstanding and the prices are very reseasonable, and you can also order off their next door neighbors menu as well, Simpatico (Italian).”
“Extremly rude service, I called to order lunch for my company.”

Poor Service. We tried this restaurant last weekend. It was not so busy. We ordered an appetizer and it literally took 25 minutes before we say our server again; the food was at best okay, the service ruined it for us. We will give it one more chance at some point.
Good food :).
Pros: good food for a quick meal after a walk around the square. The bread pudding and coffee was awesome and the place was welcoming with tons of original artwork on the walls and tv monitors all over.
Cons: very busy - hard to get the waitress for a coffee refill until you're almost or finished with your meal. They only had one waitress on staff the day I went.

Overcharged. I'm not happy with an automatic gratuity of 20% added PLUS an additional $4.62 that was not authorized!!!!!!!! I won't be back!
fantastic cajun fun. with the addictive fish tacos you will be coming back anyway.....a lively joint with super service from the staff. great tunes, amazing key lime pie and tastey dinner specials. the folk art on the wall creates a nice touch as well. the defining reason the marietta square is making a comeback..check out their sister restaurant Simpatico, next door
RUDE. Extremly rude service, I called to order lunch for my company. I explained to him who my company was and he thought I was soliciting him. He was extremely rude and in fact he hung up on me. I will take my order for 8 people and go elsewhere, I dont deserve to be treated the way the owner treated me here. My advice take your business someplace that values its customers.
Funky artwork and far-out country fare find a cozy home on Marietta's town square..
The Scene
Folk-art inspired paintings line the walls in a setting pitch-perfect for its crowd. Couples keep the tables packed; while the bar attracts its share of 30-something singles--but don't let that discourage you from checking the game score on the restaurant's muted television. Service is hyper-friendly, if a little absent minded.
The Food
Low country inspirations manage to taste as good as they look. The elk chimichanga, with its mild salsa and gamey elk paring, should receive a nomination for best elk dish of the year. Fried crawfish are miraculously free of grease. Willie's interpretation of shrimp and grits stands out from the pack by adding subtle flavor to plump shrimp with creamy grits and spicy tasso ham. Don't leave without tasting one of the house-made desserts--the bread pudding with Jack Daniel's creme anglaise is a particular standout.
a reason to come to the square. Willie Rae's is a wonderful restaurant with a neighborhood feel. If you are looking for casual, consistant dining with items out of the ordinary this is the place to go. Their fish tacos are incredible, they are an appetizer but enough for a dinner. The art work by Lizzie is a great touch. I have gone several times in small and big groups and it is always a treat, not to mention the staff is always accomodating. The whole family is welcome. My friends from midtown even commented it was good enough to travel out of the perimeter for.
worthy of the drive. This is the cutest little restaurant! Everytime I go, I have the best time! The food is outstanding and the prices are very reseasonable, and you can also order off their next door neighbors menu as well, Simpatico (Italian). I love this place! The ambience is unbeatable! Come check it out, you will not be dissappointed!!!
Art&Spice!. Willie Rae's gumbo is divine! I eat it for lunch as often as possible. And next door, Simpatico is worth the drive to Marietta if only for their incredible wine deals. No Buckhead 300% markup here. and the food is always innovative and delicious. Servers are genuine and attentive. Get thee to the Marietta square!
One of Marietta's Best. Very relaxed and great food make me think I'm back home in New Orleans
