Order a "Classic, with everything" and what you'll get is a sublime concoction of ham, roasted pork and Swiss cheese with all the fixings (ask for jalapeno peppers) between two slices of press-toasted bread. Turkey, roast beef, pastrami and salami are also available. Grab a bag of plantain chips, and take your place in line with the Tech kids and the suits.

I'm not cuban, I've never been to cuba, heck, I've never been to Miami. I'm not the one who can tell you if this is THE authentic cuban sandwich or not. But I've never been one to get upset about authenticity. Is it tasty? This is one darn tasty sandwich. Order the classic and get there at lunch time when they're making them fresh. If you're driving down 14th street in the morning, roll down your window and you'll smell the pork roasting. This is good stuff, one can only hope they can keep from getting pushed out of their location by all the development in the area.

If one makes a hamburger and add your favorite spices & fixings what would you call it? A hamburger. Well, If you ask me, a Cuban Sandwich is a Cuban Sandwich. Period! It matters not if it has peppers, onions, etc..., Its a Cuban Sandwich! And the Cuban Sandwiches at Kool Korners are The Best Cuban Sandwiches I have ever consumed!!! You can't doubt that!!!
Pros: The Food!!!
Cons: Take a bite and you will forget any drawbacks!
