... Careful of the Winelist pricing.... Be aware that wine list pricing is/can be listed by the glass... not by the bottle... To suggest this pricing technique can be a bit startling when the check arrives would be a significant understatement. When we called back to ask, we were told, "... it seems you didn't understand what you ordered..." end of story. Buyer Beware -- we won't be returning. Food and service was good, but the business practice left an incredibly sour taste. That will be the end of our patronage... Vinny's got the cost of the bottle, but lost all of our follow on business. Oh yeah... happy holidays...

Worth every penny. Just an excellent restaurant. price is right for the type of food...you pay for the higher quality. not a family place... great date restaurant or work buddies . Been here multiple times and just love it ....every time

Killer calamari and a wine list that won't quit. Vinny's is a great place to meet a friend and catch up after work. You can sit at the bar and order a variety of beers on tap, or go the way of the wine list. I had a glass of Chardonnay Aspens ‘Rutherford Ranch’ Napa Valley while I waited for my friend to arrive and then we chose a bottle of Syrah Liberty School Central Coast 2007 to split - divine. The staff was attentive, but not so much that we couldn't enjoy our conversation. The bread was a great snack and then we ordered the calamari. It was a big plate - more than enough for the 2 of us to share. It had just enough spice to kick, but not overpower the dish. I recommend it , even if you aren't big on calamari. By the looks of a busy Wed night, you really can't go wrong with any choice on the menu.

Delicious Crab Cakes. The crab cake appetizer is by far the best crab cake I've ever had anywhere. So, so good. And the apple slaw is an unusual and delicious accompaniment. The salmon entree was average tasting, but the bloodline was not cut out. The risotto served with the salmon had an unusual taste--not necessarily a bad taste, but not good either. I'm not sure what it was. I'll try the restaurant again--any place that can make a pile of crab meat taste so divine warrants another try.

Great Service. Great food and great service. Would eat there again. Great atmosphere and bar area. Can be crowded so get there early or later in the evening.

Great Food and Great Service. I have always enjoyed my meals at Vinnys on Windward. They have not been in business for 11 years for nothing. The atmosphere is great, although a little loud sometimes. The food and service are exceptional! As far as burnt filets go, if you want your filet well done and served with A1 sauce, then Vinnys is not the place for you.

Burnt Filet Mignon. Today I had a horrible experience on my 19th wedding anniversary. My husband and I went to Vinny's on Windward. I ordered filet mignon. I received it BURNT! I immediated infromed the waiter to bring me some A1 sauce to over come the burnt taste. She said, "ok." Why didn't she offer to bring me another Filet? Another waiter came and gave me the A1 sauce and informed me she had told the manager about the situation. However, still no one ever offered me another filet. Finally the manager came after I finished eating the filet with my A1 sauce and my husband had finished his meal. What poor service. The restaurant was not even busy. There were only a few people in the restaurant. Finally, he came over and says, "can I get you something else, oh I guess not you are finished." Of course, it only took him 30 minutes to come check things out. I said, "no thanks." He went on to make excuses of why the filet was burnt. I told him I always order everything well done and I have never left a restaurant with a burnt taste in my mouth. My husband ordered well done and his was not burnt. He continued with the excuses, but I told him not to worry about it. I kind of got tired of debating with him. Everyone makes mistakes and they should have immediately offered to correct the situation. I guess their ratings could be good if you don't have a bad experience. But, if you have a bad experience don't expect good service from Vinny's!!!!!!!

Always a safe bet for business. Loud enough to have a conversation w/out being overheard - and a menu that satisfies everyone - Vinny's is my #1 choice for business dinners!
