“Incredible value and really tasty!”
Brunch. the brunch is really good sometimes they even have a buffet for special holidays like mothers day and easter. they really have some great cajun cuisine. I really enjoy copelands.
A family-friendly chain offering creative variations on familiar Cajun standbys in a casual setting..
In Short
This namesake chain of prolific Louisiana restaurateur Al Copeland has spread quickly since its 1983 opening. The Southern-charmed interior is a plantation setting with rich wood trim against warm-colored walls. Office mates stop in for quick lunches, but families take advantage of the reasonably priced kids menu at dinner. Copeland's wide-ranging menu has traditional fare like hamburgers and chicken melts, but is known for Creole and Cajun dishes such as eggplant pirogue and blackened chicken.
Best all around restaurant in Kennesaw.
I'm new to Georgia and have tried almost every restaurant in Kennesaw since moving here. I've been to Copeland's of New Orleans on Barrett Parkway three times and they have been outstanding each visit.
I've had lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch and have been so pleased every time. We're greeted warmly upon our arrival, seated promptly and assisted by a waitstaff that knows the menu (how refreshing!). Not only is the staff great to the adults but they treat my 4 year old like a princess....every time!
The menu is extensive and there's something for everyone. I recommend the Sunday Brunch since there are various choices of Eggs Benedict and the cheesy grits are a treat. I described the biscuits to my best friend as what it must be like to bite into a cloud. They literally melt in your mouth and they're served with lunch and dinner as well. For lunch the wood grilled chicken breast with mashed sweet potatoes was a dream.
The atmosphere is lively but too loud . You can actually have a conversation over your meal on a Friday night.
This place is the complete dining package...try it out!
Wonderful dining experience. 8 of us in all went on a Friday night without a reservation and were seated promptly. The waitress was fabulous getting our drink order and bringing a little something special per her Mother's request for our 3 year old Granddaughter to eat while we decided on our food picks. The food was wonderful, hot, beautifully prepared and came to us quickly. Dessets are out of this world. We ordered 3 to share and had leftovers, they were enormous. The whole experience was a total enjoyment. Large portions and fairly priced. Highly recommended. We are planning on traveling to the Atlanta area again this summer and this is on our must do list.
Nice Choice Off Barrett Pkwy. Copeland's isn't my favorite restaurant but it's not my least favorite, either; it falls somewhere in the middle. They offer cajun-inspired dishes and the specials are usually pretty good. I love their ranch dressing. It's definitely a nice change from the American restaurants lining Barrett Pkwy.
Fair prices for fair food. The food is pretty good for the price point, but not exceptional. Service is good. The atmosphere is friendly, a bit loud though. This is a great place to go with a group of business colleagues for drinks and dinner, but I wouldn't go for an evening out with my husband.
FABULOUS Sesame Crusted Tuna Salad!!. Fast dine-in service for a busy lunch crowd. I've had both tuna dinner and the sesame seared tuna lunch. Incredible value and really tasty! I'd eat this every day of the week, if I could! The biscuit that came with it was also quite yummy. If you don't have the time to sit/dine, try calling ahead so it's ready for pick up.
horrible. As a former Louisiana native I have to say that by no means is copelands good creol or cajun food i would never recommend eating there to anybody looking to try louisiana cuisine.
