they've lost their lease

yeah, so i thought i was going to get a nice meal today and walked up to the front door and apparently they've lost their lease...soooo, i don't know if this means they will be closed for good...i was HIGHLY pissed...this is one of my favorite spots in atlanta....

not as good as I previously thought

I USED to REALLY like this place; however, the food and service have seriously gone downhill. That's what happens sometimes. A place likes this does well for a time and makes a name for itself and then it gets a little too sure of itself and begins to get more and more slack. I was so pleased to discover this place and my husband even became a "member." I have to admit that they do nice things if you are a member -like sending us coupons on his birthday, etc. I contacted the manager, Jason, once about our experience there and he had a multitude of excuses to offer. There is no excuse. Food and service must be consistently good on a daily basis or else customers will stop returning. It's called CONSISTENCY and commitment to EXCELLENCE.

The size was great.

We had a group of 20 or more. The clubhouse is great with reservations, and they can take a lot of people at a time. And what they lack in taste, they make it up with the portion. The amount of food on the plate was satisfactory. I thought, hey. So what the food was boring. They at least piled it high.
The location was convenient. Right beside the Lenox mall. so don't go for the valet parking. It's just stupid. walk a few more steps to digest that food.
The service was average as well, but I can't expect a single waiter to serve 20 somewhat people and pay attention to everyone's need.
So my conclusion is that, it was an average, average restaurant, with great ambiance.
(and the happy, over-excited reviews down below feels like it was done by people who works there. haha!)
