Another over-hyped ATL dining experience.
I wanted the "buzz" surrounding this place to maybe wear off a little bit before I ventured to this little whole-in-the-wall off of Memorial Drive.
I had a few hours to kill for lunch since my boss is out on vacation. When I got there, I walked in behind a couple and all of the seats were taken (there was no wait at the time) Luckily, Mrs Ann had her back turned to the door and another elderly lady with a pleasant demeanor told me I had to wait outside and she also reminded me that they didn't take debt/credit cards. After going to a convience store down the street, I came back and there were 5 people ahead of me.
When we were finally seated after 55 minutes, it was a pleasure to see Mrs Ann make the burgers after taking everyone's order individually. I chose the famous Ghetto Burger but in all honesty this was only an average burger at best. Nothing about the burger was authentic. If you time at home you can make all of the ingredients yourself and it'll probably taste better

DONT EVEN waste your time or take a chance on getting killed. You know the first time I tried to go here to get one of their burgers there was no parking anywhere except down the street in a very high crime riden area and decided it wasnt worth the risk! Today a beautiful Saturday we decided to try again, got a parking place (it was early like 11:30am) only a couple other cars there. When I opened the front door a nasty african american woman yelled at me "You have to wait outside, shut the door!" First of all, there is no hamburger on the planet worth putting up with her nasty mouth or the nasty dirty looking area surrounding her front door and the entire building! So as for Ann's Snack Bar, if you don't mind the high crime rate area, getting yelled at, and eating surrounded by dust and dirt on an outside table with paint peeling off, and screens with so much dirt on them you could smell the dust than this is the place for you!

Burgers Burger Burgers !. I just love how they cook and present their burgers at Ann's .. one of th finest in town .. my kids and I usually drop by at the place to get some if I am too tired to cook at home..and they always love it .. Thanks !

great food!. The food was perfect !..i so love mexican food because my ancestors - my grandnana was one.. Going to snacks bar reminds me of those times when were together. Thank you for the experience :-) and thank you for the crew!

its a wonderful experience. Thank you so much for what the crew have shown to use... they were really attentive and very professional. They ensure that the ordered was either given or delivered to our tables on time. Good Job !

It's good. Good food at a good price. This is what you'll get when you dine-in at Ann's. Aside from the fact that they do have an excellent service, they also offer tasty food. Tha attendants were all so friendly and nice, and it added to the enjoyment we had while dining.

Good burgers. I went here with my sister and we had a fun and enjoyable dining experience. That's what makes it distinctive aside from the burgers, which were obviously meticulously prepared.

go here for the experience. I agree, you don't really go here for the food, you go for the experience. Ms. Ann will keep you lauging and smiling and shaking your head all at the same time.
