The Scene – Mere blocks off Buckhead's powder keg crossroads lies this rustic yet refined retreat. Its attentive staff knowledgably navigates the extensive wine selection and fields tables personably without being intrusive. Warm, neutral-toned dining rooms cradle colorful details, reflecting the approach to cuisine. A long nook offers an inviting bar, there's a fireplace for chilly nights, and warm months bring coveted patio dining. – – The Food – Squash soup is a sinful cream, and hearts of palm with tangerine oil are pleasantly sour, both overshadowing chewy pizza.…
Bad food and service
by CSMobileUser4
My husband and I had dinner here over the weekend. Not good.
Our food tasted "old" and the service was slow. The place was not busy (now we see why) yet it took about 15 for a few glasses of wine. We won't be back. We will stick to the real restaurants.

I'm Hooked
by HMeeney24
I found a Portofino certificate in my Welcome Mat packet and thought that I would give it a try. I sat at the bar and had a few appetizers and some wine, and I had the best evening. I had a beet salad and an eggplant parmesan that were both very tasty. Matt, the bartender, gave great wine recommendations, and was very sweet. I was introduced to a couple regulars and even a few servers. I didn't want to leave, but it was a school night. This is going to be my neighborhood haunt.
- Pros: Very friendly staff, reasonable prices
- Cons: None yet
