The Trashiest.
This place is the "Trashiest" of the Trashy in Atlanta...
To rate it as a "Poor Dining Experience" is to insult the verb "DINE"...

Great Steaks. I love this place, it is always busy, but I understand why. The fishbowl margaritas are no joke, tread lightly. My wait quote was exactly right-on, my steak came out a perfect medium-rare, my server was awesome, dessert was perfect and it was just a great experience overall. I dont see how anyone could not fall in love with this atmosphere... any negative reviews must be from disgruntled employees.
Great service and delicious comfort food!.
We went to Cowtippers for the first time tonight. It is a very casual place with a warm staff. We were first offered a table near the bar that too loud for the hearing impaired member of our party. The host was happy to find us another table in a quieter section. Once seater, our waiter, Adam was very pleasant and apologized for having to look up some of the drinks on the menu because he had only been on the floor for one week - we would never have known it from his demeanor! We order steak, meatloaf and shrimp for the three of us. A mistake was made and the meatloaf came out as a sandwich instead of a dinner. Even though I had to wait awhile for my meal, both the waiter and the manager were very apologetic and gracious about it. That meal was comp'ed by the manager and it was delicious!
The blueberry lemon drop martini was fabulous as well all of our food. We all agreed that this is one of the best restaurants we have been to since moving to Atlanta a few months ago. Thanks to Cowtippers' staff for giving us a nice evening. We will definitely be back!
Rats...For Real. This place is over-run by mats minus m plus an r (try to follow). The patio was a breeding ground, so they tore it up and relaid it. Well in doing that, the "mats" all moved into the restaurant. You can smell their decaying bodies in the restaurant, particularly near the bar.
Good Turkey Burger. I always pass by cow tippers but never had a desire to stop by. A couple of friends mentioned tthat the food was good so I decided to check them out one Friday night. I was prety disappointed with the service. After being seated it took about 10 minutes before the waiter came over to the table after leaving the menu and another 5 minutes before we were served drinks. When we finally recieved our food, we were not given any silverware. We both asked for mayonaise for our burgers and was given one serving (I guess to share) until I brought it to the waiters attention (cleary his mind was somewhere else and not focused on taking care of us). The sad part about it is that it was around 8 pm on a Friday night and the restaurant was not that busy. I had the Turkey burger. It was very delicious a ong with some very delicious steak fries.

Good fun place. Food is mostly good. Every now and then I get something differenet than I expected, but overall I'm happy with it. The atmosphere is fun and festive, not really a place for the kids.
Horrible.
A half hour after being seated and not once even ackknowledged by the two servers helping the surrounding tables we had to go to the hostess, who eventually got us a waitress.
After an hour we got our queso dip and somewhere around and hour and a half after seating we were able to order drinks, which arrived as we finished our entrees.
We were told the GM was there, and we saw managers approaching every table around us repeatedly while we were never approached by them much less apologized to or comped a single penny of our horribly timed mediocre 2 1/2 hour meal.
Dont waste your time, you would do better at Outback.
Great Steak/Salad/Potato, Attractive Wait Staff. Enjoyed all visits to this place over the past decade. I have had steaks, salads, potatoes that are the most delicious here. Plus much fun with the staff and customers.
Wade In The Water!. It was raining, so we had to sit inside this former Bar-B-Que joint. And I do mean joint. The place is so smokey, dark, and rank, we could barely sit still long enough to read the menu. Gave our order to the server, and went to the restroom. It was two inches deep in water. When the food finally came, we could barely eat. Will not return. Asked to see a manager, and never saw one. Called Jeff Landau the owner, but refused to return my call. All his restaurants are a rip-off of the diversified intown community.
