In Short
Oscars Atlanta proudly displays its own style and sophistication by highlighting the hottest and newest non-stop music videos on huge video walls that illuminate regulars and fun-lovers who happen into Ansley Square. An oblong bar fills the center of the room with a mix of men and women mingling around it, clutching drinks and socializing between songs. On Tuesday nights, everyone joins in the chorus of their favorite video show tunes for Showtune Tuesday, which has become an Atlanta institution. Conversation here is instantly more entertaining than those annoying pop-up videos. All of the on-and-off-screen divas gather here for a quick mingle and a "drinky poo." The handsome gents, however, are always the feature presentation. Flirting at the Oscars can always land an opportunity for a lot more than a golden, anatomically correct statue.

I've been going to Oscar's for many years and would never classify this club as sterile or generic. Courteous and Professional are two words that come to mind. Through the years, Kevin has always been at the front of the bar always consistent, sober, and I his smile is always appreciated after a long week at the office. He pours, by far, the best Cosmos in the city and his Key Lime Pie Martini is divine (and for half the week costs $7 or less). My friends and I anticipate the weekend before the week is half over. Brian is also a gem and I adore his quiet demeanor. Always pleasant and seems to be a genuine and sweet man. I rarely venture to the other end of the bar as I have been treated rather poorly by the bartender that works there several nights a week. His pricing isn't consistent, and neither is his personality. About the only thing you can count on is him drunk, hateful, and obnoxious. I can not understand why the management continues to ignore his attitude and insulting outbursts. I highly recommend this Atlanta "one-of-a-kind" hot spot to anyone who can appreciate a well made drink, a mostly professional staff, great music videos, and good conversation with both bartenders and fellow patrons! You may even catch a glimpse of Betty Ford lecturing in the back!

I am new to atlanta and a friend recommended Oscar's. Upon entering the bar I found it to be kinda sterile and generic, until I made it to the back of the bar. OMG! The bartenders, (Terry and Anthony )were having so much fun together and with the crowd that you couldnt help but have a great time too! AAAAAA+++++

We arrived at this bar around 2 in the morning and we were suprised that the staff was very friendly at such a late hour. We had a couple of drinks and had a nice conversation with one of the patrons at the bar. The bartenders were accomidating and friendly, drink prices were resonable as well. Great music and videos playing even at the end of the night. I would recomend this bar if you are going out with a group of people, or by yourself. Not to worry about clicks. Everybody that we ran into was nore than willing to strick up a converation with us. I would recommend this place to everybody.
