“Great pizza”
“Though because of it's proximity to Tech it's a good place for a moderately priced beer, that's all.”
“definitely recommend it if you want good pizza and quick service.”

Get Weird with the Engineers.
Rocky Mountain Pizza is a Georgia Tech bar by definition, and a really strange place by all other classifications. It's awkward, math-letic students mixed with Home Park neighborhood barflies. And it's amazing.
It’s a ski lodge in the center of Atlanta. A pizza place with no red wine. It’s in an odd shaped, flat iron building off 10th Street, and it just may be the cheapest place in the city to get goofed up.
Order shots for your friends-hell, order shots for the entire bar- because they're only $2. But you have to stick with a color code, they only come in Blue, Red, Purple, or White. Order by color, not flavor. And most beers are around 2bux, as well. Just don't order any food. Stick to the liquid diet, my friends.
And the only other advice I lend, if someone asks you, "What's the good word?" You best reply, "TO HELL WITH GEORGIA!"
Location is everything.... Located off of 10th st. and an ear shot of GA-Tech's campus, Rocky Mountain has become the ultimate hangout for college students and young professionals. Picture "The Max" from Saved By the Bell if it served booze. Rocky is a great spot to meet college students and is often packed. It's a rule of thumb that if a restaurant or bar has a lot of people, it must be good - and vice versa. That's not the case with Rocky. The beer prices are decent but the food and service is awful. Go for the company, but eat before you leave the house.
Mediocre food, Unshowered wait staff.
Shame on me for going here multiple times. While I ordered something different each time, both of my meals were served lukewarm and they forgot half my order each time.
The service is awful. They will charge gratuity regardless of how many people are in your party and use that to their full advantage. After taking an extraordinarily long time to get your food, the staff is then too busy on their computers or talking to other waiters to come check on you or bring your check. I had the same waitress once, who wears a bandanna all the time and looks like she hasn't showered in about a week. She is rude and should really think about another job--telemarketing maybe?
Hopefully when Georgia Tech takes over this area, Rocky Mountain will be the first place to go.
Decent food, rude service, forced grautuity. This placed used to be awesome but now its pathetic. The service is bad and rude, and they charge you a 18-20% gratuity beforehand because they know none will tip for the pathetic service they offer. Food is decent but not as good as it used to be.
serves beer, inconsistent food and extremely rude service. Located across the street from GA Tech, serving beer and food with attitude. Upon entering it's a typical college hangout, nothing fancy and a place you'd call a local joint if you were only interested in drinking beer. The food menu appears varied with pizza, wings, fries, tots, a couple salads and sandwiches. The actual food quality is below average- partially frozen tots and pizza that looks and tastes as though it's about to be thrown out yet attempting a second life with weak toppings. The old pizza and undercooked tots are disappointing. Even more disappointing is the rude manager who should have never seated us if he was going to tell us we had to leave 15 min after we ordered because they were closing. We told him we hadn't even gotten our food. After this fact was pointed out he said we could stay. However, soon after receiving our food the music got very loud telling us they were closing up shop. We're easy going and simply would've walked across the street to the 24 hr diner if we knew it was going to be this way. I do not recommend this restaurant for the inconsistent food and the rude service. Though because of it's proximity to Tech it's a good place for a moderately priced beer, that's all.
Excellent College Hangout. I live around the corner from Rocky Mountain, so when I crave pizza, it's where I go. I would put it on a par with Mellow Mushroom or any other pizza place that serves that quality of food. They also have a lot of excellent bar food: wings, chicken tenders, fries. Trivia nights are good times, and the beer is reasonably priced. It's a loud place, so the serving staff can misunderstand your orders, but otherwise they do a good job. I definitely recommend it if you want good pizza and quick service.
Great Value. Cheap beer, plenty of TV's and rabid sports fans! Who could ask for more?....Well you could ask for better service but I guess you get what you pay for. Typical college bar but also an official Eagles spot on Sundays and the crowd stays amped.
Great food, horrible service. I've had several experiences with Rocky Mtn. Pizza. So far, the food has been good, but the service: probably the worst I've had at any restaurant. The servers are rude, do not listen, and seem more into hanging out with fellow employees than actually working. This is probably due to the fact that the place is managed by a teenager. Other than the service, I enjoy trivia and the food is good (when they actually get your order correct).
Pizza Rocks. Pizza, sports, cheap beer.... what more could you want! The regulars know about a special wing pizza thats not on the menu. Its like eating wings and pizza at the same time, but no bones! Its a must try.
