Sophisticated American chain serves up corn-fed USDA prime cuts and New Orleans-style appetizers and sides..
In Short
This offshoot of a popular New Orleans hangout for politicians features decor of dark woods and comfortable booths, with a separate bar scene. Choice cuts of custom-aged beef arrive in sizzling butter on 500-degree plates. The menu also offers chicken, pork and seafood entrees along with Creole appetizers like shrimp remoulade. Family-style sides include gargantuan onion rings, creamed spinach and various styles of potatoes. Traditional homemade desserts like cheesecake and bread pudding conclude the meal.
Not that great!. I am constantly looking for a great steak; one that will really blow me away. I live in Suwanee so the only good steak place around is Stoney River. I took a girlfriend there and she was not so impressed and suggest I go to Ruth's Chris so I did. I was not impressed all. The steak was ok but nothing great it was really pretty bland. So as of now I'm still out on the hunt for a good steak but Ruth's Chris is not it!
great steaks, stay away from the fish. I like to eat there with my clients, but I had fish one time, maybe 22.00 buck and choke to death on a bone. for 4.50 at captin D's I never had a bone. But the food is great so go to a steak house for steak and stay away from the fish bones. All I got was a letter and I sorry. never been back. One free meal would get me back but a sorry letter and hope to see you soon. sorry for them I not spending my money there but I will go back with some one who is paying.
Sumptuous Feast. Ruth Chris, with its various locations, offers such a tantalizing meal, even the price is worth it. It is rather pricey for people on certain budgets, but the portions are great (i.e. 2 people can share a side, all of which are a la carte) and the food is magnificent. The steak is sumptuous and even has a history of how it is cooked. Be sure to let your waitstaff know if it is your first time to a Ruth Chris, they make it memorable.
Mmmmm Good!. Delicious!! Steak that melts in your mouth, creamy mashed potatoes to die for and crisp, tasty veggies with a generous goblet of great wine. Now that's a meal!
best beef hands-down.
Pricey and worth it!
Great anniversary steakhouse, if you went every night you wouldn't appreciate it (and you'd weigh 350 lbs with cholesterol of 600).
If you don't like steak, you'll like these steaks.
Tender, flavorful, sizzling in butter...my mouth waters!
STEAK HEAVEN. My only problem is deciding which Ruth's Chris restaurant visit ..... love the view at Centennial Park, the big city feel of the Paces Ferry Buckhead restaurant, and the intimate setting at Sandy Springs. Fried oyster appetizer is the perfect way to start any meal, followed by a thick, juicy sizzling steak or live Maine lobster. Accompany with out of this world creamed spinach and mashed potatoes with just the right touch of garlic. Creme Brulee a must to complete the experience. All made evn more memorable by some of the best service I've ever experienced.
Great steak, but pricy!. This restaurant is very romantic and it has great food, but be prepared to spend a lot of money. The steak here is heavenly. Great for a speacial occasion.
Nickel and Dimed. I feel cheated walking into a restaurant that can't throw in a few side items when you pay at least $24 for a hunk of meat. Nice restaurants charge seperately for salads- this I understand, but charging extra for some green beans or potatoes is silly. Service was excellent, but I still felt cheated. Fellow diners yap on cell phones and prom teens horseplay all through dinner. Sorry, but I don't find the atmosphere romantic.
