i've been to the original location in Tuscaloosa over the years and had excellent ribs. Quality took a nose dive once the old man passed on & it became a chain. Every time i've eaten at other locations in Alabama & Georgia the ribs are either almost raw or overdone. The sauce has gotten very watery. Of course now that it is a chain they have decided to add some very mediocre additions such as sandwiches and chicken.

The ribs are quite tasty, as is the pulled pork. There sauce is fairly strong, it is a vinegar based sauce and has a little tang, but nothing to bad. They also make good bbq salads. Despite what the other reviews say, I have never had bad food or a problem with the servers or managment.
