The Scene – The zoo occupies the southern half of Grant Park. Habitats are spacious and naturalistic, with plenty of trees, bushes, watering holes and cozy dens. That makes animals who naturally live in trees, bushes and cozy dens hard to see sometimes, but patience usually pays off. The Kenyan habitat has giraffes, zebras, ostriches, antelope, rhinos, lions and tigers. On a smaller scale, birds, freaky reptiles, insects and snakes also all make their home in the zoo. - The petting zoo is open daily. Kids can reach out and touch pygmy goats, pot-bellied pigs and sheep. "Paul" the sheep is renowned for his outgoing personality.

- If you're looking to see Lun Lun and Yang Yang in action, visit in the morning, between 9:30 and 11am, when they feed.
- The Extras:

It becomes more fun every year! The pandas are the cutest ever and I love how involved they encourage Atlanta to be in preserving wildlife :)

It's always a treat to visit the Atlanta Zoo. My 4 year old would rather visit the zoo than eat ice cream for breakfast.

Zoo Atlanta is a very nice family attraction,for the family but the cost to kid in and food prices our outrageous.
