Editorial Review for Darwin's – by Ginger Massey
The Scene
Route 66 wallpaper, yard sale chairs and tables, the dim red glow of scattered candles: This cozy dive has the feel of an eclectic apartment. It's the kind of place where everyone feels comfortable. Long-time blues fans, groups of young college students and couples on a date all pull up seats to be entertained by musicians on the small corner stage. Front and back porches offer retreat from the music and a nice place to order from the rather large menu of deli sandwiches, import beers, wine, martinis and cigars.
The Draw
Six nights a week, live acts make the case that Atlanta's best blues bar could be in Marietta. Fridays and Saturdays usually attract the biggest talents, and Wednesdays open up to blues jams.

Good music, cold beer, small local bar atmosphere We enjoy the music. Wednesday is Jam night. Weekends can get rather crowded. Beer is cold and the waitress hot. Staff is friendly. Good social scene . Big rear deck Covered front deck Back room where you can still hear and see, yet also hear your own words.
