The History – Amos Giles Rhodes built the castle now called Rhodes Hall in 1904 as the centerpiece of his 114-acre estate. He constructed the residence of Stone Mountain granite in the Romanesque Revival style and adorned it with High Victorian interiors. Today, the historic house museum sits at the edge of busy Peachtree Street and offers guided visits and behind-the-scenes tours of the mansion.
