In Short
In 1920, Edward Durwood opened a single-screen picture house in Kansas City, Mo. Over the next 40 years, his company went on to pioneer the use of four- and six-screen theaters. In 1969, the company incorporated as American Multi-Cinema Inc. in honor of its signature multiplexes. Now, the company is known for theaters with 14 or more screens, as well as innovations such as armrests with built-in cup holders, stadium seating with LoveSeats, ATM-style ticketing and online ticket purchasing.

and bathroom were thrashed...

The staff gives your awesome service!. This is a great theatre for all viewers of all age to attend. The atmosphere is great and the staff is trained to deliver nothing short of excellent customer service. I too agree with the other viewer that while this may not be in what everyone considers a safe neighborhood, in all honesty you are not safe in any neighborhood these days! A comforting factor is that there always seems to be security on hand.
Very pleased. I was very pleased with this theater it has a very nice surrounding. And it just make you feel welcome.
Impressed. I have to be honest, I was very pleased with my experience at this theater. The rest rooms and the theater in general, was impeccably clean.
Looks like a winner. Good theater, great sound. The other reviewer mentioned it was on a bad side of town. No, it's not Buckhead or Virigina Highlands, but I go there all the time and I feel totally safe. I have been to theaters in "good areas" -- the theater atmosphere was much more rowdy and I didn't feel any more "safe" as I did at this theater. The theater staff are always helpful and professional.
