Do not watch movies here. I have tried to give this theater a chance several times. Each visit over the past 6 months gives a new meaning to bad movie theater experience. My last visit was for Avatar, and I expected some teenagers to be in the audience. Who wouldn't? That is the target audience. However, I was extremely disappointed with their behavior and a few other items.

The movie was less than 5 minutes in, and I had to stand up and ask them to be quiet. In return, I received banter and disrespectful comments. Instead of confronting said youth, I asked management to handle the situation. I received the usual, "If they are disruptive again, please let us know." The talking commenced again, but at a much lower tone. I guess these kids never learned that sound travels. Management peaked their head in several times to ensure nothing was occurring, but this didn't stop anyone from using their cell phones during the movie. Also, the kids ran up and down the aisles, or stood at the front waving to their friends in the back. Yes, I could have gone to management again, but at $12.00 a ticket, I am not going to miss another minute of the movie. I endured the irritation.

We left the movie (BTW, good picture, soft plot) and noticed there were not one or two police officers but 10 waiting in the lobby. Why does a movie theater need 10 cops? Oh yeah...there is inadequate staff to counter the rowdy and disrespectful crowd.

This theater needs to crack down on movie hoppers and start kicking some of these kids out on their first offense. Maybe, just maybe, they will start to understand people want to watch a movie, not pay attention to their immature tactics.

Parents please instruct your kids on proper movie ettiquette. Other patrons, please be a good example - turn off your cell phones, take off your blue-tooth, and disconnect for 2 hours. The worst that can happen is someone blogged, twittered, or facebooked something completely unimportant.
