For those looking to get married north of town, but not too far away, Buford's beautiful Bona Allen Mansion is tough to beat. It looks like a grand old Italian palace and is set on a stunning manicured six acres; Bona Allen does catering, event planning and will do all the set-up and take-down.

Think of Bridals by Lori as a giant boutique. It's got great designer names (Vera Wang, Lasaro), a swooping space with 21 dressing rooms and catwalk, but it still knows how to cater to those on a budget. Just make sure you book an appointment a few weeks ahead of time--it gets crowded on the weekends.

The best upscale (but most expensive) vintage shop in the city has an outstanding selection. If you find something that just sort of fits, don't be afraid to take it to a tailor down the street.
