    There is no $5 wash advertised at the always-popular Cactus, so you just have to say, "Give me the $5 wash, please." Now this isn't getting close to any kind of detail-oriented job, but it'll work in a pinch. As an added bonus, there is free WiFi inside.

    You won't find these jokers on the menu at the Palm, the cartoon-decorated steakhouse that specializes in amazing amounts of expensive surf 'n' turf. Pony up to the bar and rock some swagger when you order these bad boys. Atlanta's most potent trio are filled with filet mignon and dressed in heavy Bearnaise, certainly worth the $18 price tag.

    In what is maybe the coolest DIY move ever by a bar, dive-tastic Elliott's in Castleberry Hill brings the thunder, old-school style, by setting up a self-serve keg of rotating IPA beers (with a chalkboard honor system) for $3. Every day. And while this part is no secret, their sandwiches wrapped in butcher paper are well worth it.

However, Luda's Singaporean jewel, Straits, does $1.50 Tiger beer every day, leaving you with more money to spend on their kung pao lollipops.

    This spot off Briarcliff Road serves normal Americanized Thai and sushi six days a week. That is, of course, until Sunday brunch when they pull out the handwritten, home-cooked noodle menu that is all about authenticity, driving those of Thai descent to flock to this Druid Hills eatery.
