Here in the sports-loving South, we take football very seriously. But that doesn't mean we can't get excited over the other football, er, futbol. Whether you're a true fan of the sport or just appreciate a bar opening up at 7 in the morning, you're sure to find a spot around town right for you. Stop by one of these futbol-friendly locales (like Fado, pictured) and get ready to sink into a month-long soccer stupor...

When it comes to the World Cup, Fado means business. They look forward to this for four years, and it shows in their planning. They open up at 7:30 AM with a breakfast menu and keep it going until the wee hours, showing all the matches and having a DJ spin tunes in the meantime. Check out their website for some helpful "everything you need for a proper World Cup" information.
The various international flags perched atop the roof of the Brewhouse is a harbinger of the love this spot has for international sports, especially soccer. They'll be broadcasting all games live, so sip on their famous rum-laced "Painkiller" and enjoy the badassery that is their patio. And did we mention they have 3D televisions? Yeah, get some of that.
If East Atlanta is more your style, then cruise into the Midway Pub. They have a fabulous beer selection (Allagash White by the pitcher? Don't mind if I do.), and of course they'll be showing every game live, so pull up a chair, and ask that attractive Brit at the table next to you to explain the rules of soccer.
One stroll through Virginia Highland and you know where to watch the World Cup. Limerick Junction has had a huge World Cup schedule plastered to the front window for days now. Enjoy their breakfast menu and watch the games in HD.
For the OTP crowd, head to Meehan's Public House in Sandy Springs. You'll find drink specials, a full menu, and quite possibly the largest projector screen around...15 x 25 feet to be exact. Score!
