DANNEMANS: ?Because Kate and company make the best salted caramel latte called the Barrack Attack.? (Editor's note: We questioned this salted coffee situation but were quickly put in our place upon first sip. It's fabulous.)
AURORA in Virginia Highland: ?Aurora Coffee on N. Highland is the best independent coffee shop in town. Staff's cool and attentive. Java and brefix snax are great. Local art-crowd yucking it up when you're cranky on the way to work....not so much.?
CAFE INTERMEZZO: ?When I?m not using my home espresso machine or hitting Danneman's for a quick fix, I think the best, true coffee shop in Atlanta is Cafe Intermezzo. It's everything a coffee house should be but without the hectic environment.?
