Though smaller than neighboring Virginia-Highland, Little Five Points holds its own as a nightlife destination. The bars are beloved neighborhood haunts, and the music venues are some of the best in the city. Grab a seat on the patio to watch a) the soccer match or b) the L5P weirdos. Either way it's a nice way to spend the afternoon in the city's most creative 'hood. If you are suffering from a hangover, try the Pain Killer to help you instantly improve your day.

Hipsters congregate for hidden-cool indie shows and cheap PBR. Every Thursday night is free to get in, with promotions teams like Pop Death Squad putting on shows. If you are looking to get away from the action, head downstairs for a drink, or a trip to the Elvis vault or photo booth.
The Variety is the venue where the hip bands play once they've grown out of the Star Bar. Butch Walker, The Whigs and Manchester Orchestra have all seen the graduation from the tiny dive to a 1200 seat theatre. And all can sell it out.
