The beauty of this Buckhead staple is that it has the best of all worlds. You want apps and wine? Check. You want an 80s cover band to sing along to? Check. You want to find a cozy back booth to gossip? Check. You want to get on the dance floor and shake it? Check. So get dolled up and reserve the weekend, Buckhead Bettys; there is no more versatile club for a gaggle of girls.
Halo

There is definitely a good chance you'll run into a few straight guys on the prowl at Halo, but with multiple levels and a string of lounge areas, escaping comes easy. This dark, undercover Midtown hot spot boasts buzzworthy DJs and stiff drinks (absinthe, anyone?) that go well for unadulterated girl time. So grab that martini, find a space upstairs and get to the gossip.

Some ladies would rather spend their time conversing over cocktails and nibbles in a sexy space than letting loose on a dance floor. MF Buckhead not only has some of the most elegant sushi and Japanese in the city, but the interior is a flashy showstopper that makes you feel cool the moment you walk in the door. Those who want to make a night of it should go a block down Peachtree for a nightcap on the W roof at Whiskey Blue.
Mary's

When girls need a no-frills, laughingly good time, they turn to gay men. Because, let's be honest, gay guys flat know how to throw a guilt-free, instantaneous party. (And can we add they are super-fun to be around?) Our choice for best gay hang in the ATL is Mary's in East Atlanta Village. Look for Mary-oke and dance nights to really let loose. It's like the gay Cheers. And what girl doesn't want that?
Noche

Lodged in what has become Atlanta's trendiest 'hood, Noche holds a firm grip on the Virginia Highland drink 'n' mingle crowd. Margaritas, tapas and plenty of eye candy make for a chit-chatty atmosphere. Hit the boutiques on Highland Avenue for a little pre-party shopping, and plan your girl's night on a Thursday to sing along to Yacht Rock at the 10 High. Win, win, win.
